Urban Baristas

Coffee is at the heart of Urban Baristas. We are passionate about serving people that taste of Aussie beach culture in a cup. Everything we do leads back to our story of love for coffee and Aussie life.

Urban Baristas is all about simplicity, comfort, and laid-back vibes. Our shops are simple and unpretentious, a place you can take a breather. Our neighbours are our friends. We love hearing your stories as we make your coffee and might even give you the occasional cup on the house.

Our Aussie spirit extends to giving our guests those healthy Aussie choices. Although whilst we’ll always favour our Smashed Avo on Toast and healthy Brekkie Pots, we offer a mean Ham and Cheese Toastie as well, sometimes you just need that bit of comfort food.

We like people that see life as a journey of discovery and adventure, not taking themselves too seriously. We hope people online might notice that we’ve named our coffees after our favourite Aussie beaches and take them back to that year backpacking, or dream about that long-awaited adventure away.

Online we provide a seamless service from ordering to delivery. It's efficient and simple, as we are.

Our Journey:

Influenced by the cool vibes of Bondi Beach and the amazing Aussie coffee scene, in 2016 we opened our first coffee shop in London looking to bring our take on Aussie coffee and brunch culture to the UK with sunshine and a smile.

2016

We arrive in Bounds Green
Our journey started 4 years ago, when we opened our little kiosk located in North London with the aim of serving specialty coffee to the London commute (because even the hustlers of London have to stop for coffee…and brekky).

2017

Wapping opens
Wapping was our first sit-in shop where we served up our Aussie Brunch with a little bit of that Bondi Beach sunshine. It became the inspiration for our simple shops to hang out with friends or sit and while away the day with a book.

2020

Urban at Home
Four years on and we’re now roasting our Urban Baristas coffee in London for all our cafe’s or for you to enjoy at home. Either sign up or gift one of our weekly or monthly subscriptions or grab individual bags of coffee to try our one of our ethically sourced coffees.
